What would a trip be if when you arrived, there was nothing to do? Imposible!
Pas ici! Jamais!" the Guadelopian chef would say in his suave French.
In a proper English accent our Barbadians docent will reply "Impossible!
Not here! Never!" Even the easy going Jamaican musicians will
say "On the contrary. Don't worry, be happy! We have plenty to keep
you amused for several visits man."
From
tropical entertainment to Caribbean cooking, we entertain guests from sunrise to
sunset and well into the moonlight with cocktails, live music, and
dancing. The Grand Caribbean Auditorium features our rich Caribbean
Carnival Extravaganza of native dancers who move to all the beats including
Jamaican reggae, Trinidadian calypso, and the Cuban meringue, just to name a
few. The Aquarium of the Caribbean not only provides a fun filled
experience to meet the marine habitant of our planet, three quarters of which is
water (as you're acutely aware of in our island setting,) but also informs
you especially on the countless number of tropical fish, (for where are you but
in the tropics.) At Captain's Hooks' restaurant, feast your eyes on tasty
fish platters you wouldn't have found aboard his ship unless you were Captain
Hook himself. Hurricane Bay, where our slogan is "The more the water the
more the fun!" has water slides, inner tube rides, tidal pools for the
little ones, and a wave pool for the big ones. There's no pirate here who's
going to make you walk the plank, but we have one if you care to
volunteer. Tropical Adventure at Paradise Theater is an awe inspiring Imax
quest you will not want to miss as you go on a whirl wind tour of the
Caribbean. Island Exhibit Hall displays first rate Caribbean attire,
native musical instruments, along with a wealth of information on hurricanes,
the slave trade, and the Spanish conquistador. Ocean activities lets you dive
in, get wet, and experience first hand the Caribbean aquatic adventures. So give
it a try and indulge yourself; you deserve it.
In
other words, the five senses are covered from head to toe with the goal to
exceed all your wildest expectations. We also nourish the cerebral part as
you may have noticed. Moreover, visitors travel the Caribbean via the
sugar cane train, island ferries, jungle boats and a cruise ship, albeit a
miniature one, which provide amusing transportation. Finally, we parlay
souvenirs for yourself and loved ones to remember your swashbuckling experience
at our Ports of Call Marketplace. So go ahead, explore all we offer by
clicking on a venue below to learn more about it and be prepared to pack up and
go!
